Welding Fabricator

Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Marine Welder to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing welding jobs from start to finish, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with proper and safe methods.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze work orders to determine the most effective welding techniques.

• Clean and prepare surfaces for welding.

• Perform welding tasks, joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable material.

• Adhere to all safety procedures and be familiar with OSHA standards and requirements.

• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and visual acceptance.

• Notify supervisors immediately of any safety or equipment concerns.

• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to personal transportation.

• Willingness to obtain OSHA, VSRA, and DBIDS

• A minimum of 3 years of stick welding experience is required.

Work Environment/Shift:

• Indoor/Outdoor

• Monday - Saturday 6:30 am - 3:30 pm

Benefits/Compensation:

• Pay $18 - $28/hr. depending on experience
