    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Structural Welders play a key role in the success of the company, with the day-to-day goal of meeting the production schedule set forth by Shop Foreman

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Weld and fabricate structural steel
    • Follow blueprints to meet production specifications
    • Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
    • Receive instructions, prints, and work order for the job, and plan details of working procedures, tools, and material requirements
    • Fabricate by cutting, burning, and welding various metals
    • Clean and prepare surfaces to be welded
    • Setup, assemble, and tack weld parts

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3+ years' experience in welding
    • Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
