    The Warehouse and Shipping Associate is primarily responsible for completing general warehouse functions. This includes, but is not limited to labeling and boxing product, verifying incoming product counts, conducting inventory counts, and reviewing documentation in order to maintain up-to-date inventory records. The Warehouse and Shipping Associate I is also responsible for the packaging and shipping of finished devices.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Receive shipments into the warehouse using computer aided functions

    • Print labels for product

    • Label product in accordance with FDA regulations

    • Assemble product

    • Process customer orders for shipment

    • Pick, pack, and ship devices in accordance with approved SOPs for distribution to customers and sales representatives

    • Maintain up-to-date inventory records by performing daily inventory cycle counts

    • Use ERP system to process RMAs and transfers of inventory

    • Perform weekly cycle counts on internal consumables (i.e., device cartons, shippers, etc.)

    • Prepare shipping labels using FedEx/UPS software solutions

    • Perform cycle counts on the physical warehouse

    • File, fax, and scan documents

    • Participate in Good Saves, Gems, and other process improvements

    • Perform other related duties as assigned

    DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position. Education & Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    • 0 - 3 years of experience; Manufacturing experience is a plus

    • Prior experience of GMP and ISO standards preferred

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

    • Ability to multi

    • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

    • Ability to multi-task

    • Excellent attention to detail and recordkeeping

    • Ability to maintain a safe work environment

    • Proven ability to follow policies and procedures consistently and independently

    • Excellent organization and prioritization skills

    • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills; ability to display sound judgment

    • Computer literacy

    TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED

    Ability to utilize a computer, telephone, fax and copy machine as well as other general office equipment.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    The physical requirements listed in this section include, but are not limited to, the motor/physical abilities and skills required of the position in order to successfully undertake the essential duties and responsibilities of this position.

    • While undertaking the essential duties and responsibilities of the position, the employee must repeatedly sit, listen, speak, type, and move throughout the facility.

    • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

    • Must be able to maintain a high level of frequency in physical activity such as reaching, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and crouching.

    ADVERSE WORKING CONDITIONS

    The adverse working conditions listed in this section include, but are not limited to, those environmental conditions to which the employee may be exposed while undertaking the essential duties and responsibilities of this position, which is that of a general plant environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, high precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate There are no adverse working conditions associated with this position.
