    At Kelly®, we're passionate about helping you find a job that works for you. How about this one? We're seeking a Warehouse Manager to work with our client a leading independent distributor of interior finish building materials, in Fargo, North Dakota.

    What's a typical day as a Warehouse Manager? You'll be:

    • Hiring, training, mentoring, motivating, and managing the performance of warehouse/driving staff.

    • Ensuring the safety of people, product, equipment, and vehicles by complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.

    • Conducting warehouse floor operations and being heavily involved in daily loading, lifting, shipping/receiving, quality control, and accuracy.

    • Scheduling and routing daily deliveries to client jobsites, considering destination, gross vehicle weights, and proper vehicle selection.

    • Controlling inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage system.

    • Maintaining the condition of the warehouse by planning/implementing new design/layouts to improve efficiency.

    • Inspecting warehouse equipment and vehicle fleet to facilitate repair, service, and/or replacement when needed.

    • Assisting walk-in clients and facilitating client orders.

    • Communicating and collaborating with other key stakeholders across the company, including Sales and Purchasing departments.

    • Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive performance and efficiency.

    • Handling strategic/special projects as needed.

    • Performing essential functions of the Certified Delivery Driver job, including driving, lifting, and delivering products, when required, with or without reasonable accommodation.

    • Performing the essential functions of the Warehouse Manager job with or without reasonable accommodation.

    This job might be an outstanding fit if you

    • Have a High School diploma or equivalent or higher.

    • Have a minimum of two years of shipping/receiving experience in a distribution environment.

    • Have a minimum of two years of management experience in a distribution, construction, or manufacturing environment.

    • Have a minimum of two years of leadership experience in a warehouse role such as Warehouse Manager, Assistant Warehouse Manager, etc.

    • Have experience with material handling and forklift operations.

    • Have knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and FMCSA safety guidelines.
