    Job Description

    SUMMARY

    The Vice President of Product Management is responsible the full lifecycle of Data Intelligence product(s) ensuring revenue targets are achieved.

    JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Sets, develops, and articulates a compelling product vision that aligns with the company's mission and adapts to the evolving needs of the market.

    • Stays at the forefront of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments to position our products as leaders in the market.

    • Defines addressable market, identifies new market opportunities, and relentlessly prioritizes competing objectives to maximize financial contribution of the product(s).

    • Drives an agile product development process directly with the Vice President of Software Engineering, iterating quickly and efficiently to deliver innovative solutions to the market.

    • Fosters a culture of experimentation and prototyping to accelerate the cycle of product delivery.

    • Owns the product(s) throughout the product lifecycle including product enhancements, updates, and end-of-life decisions in support of the company's strategy and objectives.

    • Works directly with clients and users to get feedback, iterate on ideas, and build trust.

    • Supports the sales cycle, actively partnering with sales and marketing to drive business growth, including meeting with clients and prospects to pitch solutions.

    • Collaborates with operations, engineering, design, and other teams to ensure successful product delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

    • Conducts market research, competitive analysis, and client feedback analysis to identify emerging trends and client needs and translates insights into actionable product strategies and roadmaps.

    • Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities for disruptive innovation within the industry while championing a customer-centric approach to inform product decisions.

    • Builds and leads a high-performing product management team, instilling a culture of innovation, accountability, and adaptability.

    • Collaborates with key stakeholders, including executives, sales, marketing, and client support to align product initiatives with business goals and ensure successful go-to-market strategies.

    • Manages key aspects of product design and content development in conjunction with marketing and engineering teams.

    • Manages and allocates resources effectively, including ensuring optimal return on investment for products.

    • Ensures products meet or exceed client expectations.

    • Measures product success by revenue and bookings contributions to the business. Collaborates with marketing and sales to ensure financial goals are achieved.

    • Collaborates with the Product Marketing Manager to ensure marketing campaigns align with product vision.

    • Participates in client demos, webinars, and other presentations.

    • Manages product-related feedback and inquiries from users.

    WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    • A bachelor's degree in marketing required; master's degree preferred.

    • Minimum of 15 years' increasing responsibility in product management roles delivering SaaS solutions ideally within the retail, consumer packaged goods or fintech industries, with a minimum of 7 years in a leadership role managing multiple functions.

    • Demonstrated success in consistently delivering against strategic roadmap.

    • Skills to dissolve the boundaries between the traditional silos of product management, user experience, marketing, and engineering. Acts as an influencer and equalizer across multiple functional disciplines.

    • Proven track record of driving double-digit YoY revenue growth in products owned.

    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

    • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Exceptional listening skills.

    • Results-oriented and data-driven mindset, with proven experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.

    • Entrepreneurial mindset with passion for innovation and driving client success.

    • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

    • Strong negotiation skills.

    • Self-starter with sense of urgency and desire to make an impact.
