Telecommunications Specialist

Job Description

As part of the Telecommunications team, you'll be responsible for managing and supporting the telephony network. This includes handling multiple VoIP PBX phone systems, Contact Center applications, Voice Mail, call routing, analog lines, call accounting software, and call recording.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Configuring, deploying, and maintaining end-user telephone setups

• Monitor the telephony systems

• Assist with system upgrades

• Create user training materials

• Provide support for telecom service requests.

Required Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in IT or a 2-year degree in the IT/telecommunication field.

• Familiarity with IT infrastructure.

• Basic knowledge of VoIP PBX and Call Center systems.

• Proficiency in Windows-based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Ability to handle routine administration of local and remote telephone systems, voicemail, contact center, and call recording software.

• Capable of providing level 1 technical support for voice communication equipment work orders efficiently and with minimal supervision.

This position works onsite in La Crosse, WI.
