    Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Technician Process Spec to join our mission in King of Prussia, PA!

    Summary of Key Duties for this position

    • Mechanical/electrical fabrication of flight and

    ground support hardware.

    • Electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical

    assembly.

    • Perform a variety of hands-on electrical assembly tasks ranging from repetitive to nonrepetitive production assembly operations.

    • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and

    test experimental or prototype assemblies under

    simulated conditions.

    • Work as a member of a team communicating

    technical issues to Manufacturing / Quality

    Engineers while supporting corrective actions.

    • Ability to be trained to perform all duties in

    accordance with Lockheed Martin training

    requirements, such as hand soldering, bonding,

    harness fabrication, module assembly and black box level assembly.

    ***Preference for this requisition will be given to Space employees.***

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Mechanical dexterity.

    • Ability to read and interpret engineering

    drawings and parts lists.

    • Ability to pass JSTD-001 certification, SSC

    JSTD001MAP Solder OPER Certification, SSC

    NASA Polymerics Operator Certification and SSC

    NASA Cable/Harness, Operator Certification.

    • Ability to obtain a Top Secret security

    clearance.

    Desired Skills:

    • Conformal Coating experience

    • JSTD-001 certification.

    • Able to read drawings and measurements

    • Proficiencies with epoxies and structural adhesives

    • Attention to detail

    • Mechanically inclined

    • Operate cutting tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, drills and rotary tools with proficiency

    • Basic technological and mathematical proficiency

    • Passionate about their work and takes pride in delivering high-quality hardware

    • Solid computer skills, competent with MS

    Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.

    • Preferred candidate should be proficient with

    VE-CAMS and SAP.

    • 2 years experience in the industry.

    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Clearance Level: Top Secret

    Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
