    As an ECS Section Leader, you will oversee Systems Engineers who work as part of a cross-functional multi-disciplinary team to design, integrate, debug and test the next generation electronic warfare systems. These Systems Engineers deliver innovative solutions and technical contributions that include program estimation, program planning, system development, requirements development, integration and test and execution in a field deployment environment.

    Roles and Responsibilities: Lead and build a Systems Engineering team including:

    Recruit, retain, train, recognize, develop and assign team members as appropriate to meet business area needs.

    Develop individual and group goals and objectives.

    Communicate flow down.

    Collect and provide performance feedback

    Mentor careers by development of career and training plans

    Ensure group members adhere to BAE Systems' cultural principles, policies and vision

    Track program execution through metrics and technical reviews

    Provide support to program proposal cost estimates and reviewing Basis of Estimates, including Risks and Opportunities.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

    • Ability to lead a group with diverse cultures and individual differences.

    • Proven performance management, mentoring, coaching and communication skills.

    • Engineering background and Leadership skills and experience in multiple aspects of DoD product development lifecycle.

    • Ability to formulate a strategic vision and define and implement action plans to achieve goals in a changing environment.

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    • Bachelors Degree in Engineering

    • Active Secret clearance

    • Functional Mangement leadership experience

    • Experience across engineering lifecycle

    • Experience in developing / reviewing technical and cost artifacts for new business activities.

    • Experience in supporting trade studies, Con Ops development, cost accounting management.

    Pay Information

    Full-Time Salary Range: $138120 - $234840

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
