Amentum is looking for a Supply Technician to join our Submarine Technical Support Center (STSC) team in Groton, CT. The successful employee will work with a team of highly dedicated and experienced former service personnel in maintaining the U.S. Navy's Submarine Force Warfighting Capability.
Provide configuration reviews to ensure that installed systems/equipment are accurately recorded in the Department of the Navy's (DON) master configuration database
Perform Technical Manual Reviews to ensure appropriate technical documentation is onboard to support the maintenance of installed systems/equipment
Perform Repair Part reviews to ensure all repair parts are onboard to support current ship's configuration
Conduct Post Availability Logistics Support (PALS) and ensure that the ship's database contains the configuration changes that occurred during availability and that it is safe to proceed with re-allowancing options
Conduct Automated Shore Interface (ASI), Onboard Repair Part (OBRP) and obsolete/excess material offloads to ensure correct required material is available onboard for all applicable equipment currently onboard
Provide technical manual and configuration verification support during assessments and functional system checks
Provide storage, inventory management and issuing oversight of PMS450 Virginia Class submarine obsolescence program
Provide training to ship's force during system assessments and procedural verifications to enhance Naval Technician's knowledge of configuration and database maintenance
Build and initialize all Stock Record Cards HME&Q and prepare all special categorized material via RSupply PATRIOT supply systems for New Construction Virginia Class submarines by direction of PMS450
Must be a U.S Citizen
Must have an active security clearance at the secret level and be able to maintain that security clearance
A t least 6 years of job-related experience or equivalent
Excellent communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs
