  • Job Summary

    Amentum is looking for a Supply Technician to join our Submarine Technical Support Center (STSC) team in Groton, CT. The successful employee will work with a team of highly dedicated and experienced former service personnel in maintaining the U.S. Navy's Submarine Force Warfighting Capability.

    Job responsibilities:

    • Provide configuration reviews to ensure that installed systems/equipment are accurately recorded in the Department of the Navy's (DON) master configuration database

    • Perform Technical Manual Reviews to ensure appropriate technical documentation is onboard to support the maintenance of installed systems/equipment

    • Perform Repair Part reviews to ensure all repair parts are onboard to support current ship's configuration

    • Conduct Post Availability Logistics Support (PALS) and ensure that the ship's database contains the configuration changes that occurred during availability and that it is safe to proceed with re-allowancing options

    • Conduct Automated Shore Interface (ASI), Onboard Repair Part (OBRP) and obsolete/excess material offloads to ensure correct required material is available onboard for all applicable equipment currently onboard

    • Provide technical manual and configuration verification support during assessments and functional system checks

    • Provide storage, inventory management and issuing oversight of PMS450 Virginia Class submarine obsolescence program

    • Provide training to ship's force during system assessments and procedural verifications to enhance Naval Technician's knowledge of configuration and database maintenance

    • Build and initialize all Stock Record Cards HME&Q and prepare all special categorized material via RSupply PATRIOT supply systems for New Construction Virginia Class submarines by direction of PMS450

    Minimum Requirements

    • Must be a U.S Citizen

    • Must have an active security clearance at the secret level and be able to maintain that security clearance

    • A t least 6 years of job-related experience or equivalent

    • Excellent communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs
