    Job Description

    This position provides quality system leadership to the distribution operation within the Breinigsville, PA location. Ensures compliance to standards and regulations for medical device products both capital equipment and sterile product.

    The Quality Supervisor role will provide Quality support for all operations within the facility. This scope will include receiving, inspection, segregation, storage and shipping of all products that flow through the location. In addition, this role will be responsible for managing site activities with respect to ship holds and QMS execution (e.g. NCR, change & doc control, etc). This position partners closely with the Supply Chain Management team at Breinigsville. All Quality inspectors within the facility will report to this position.

    Job Duties

    • Monitors and manages the daily work activities associated with distribution activities.

    • Assures that all processes and standard operating procedures are followed.

    • Use KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of the QMS within Breinigsville and define areas of improvement.

    • Train and supervise the daily activities of a team of Quality inspectors/associates.

    • Support internal and external audits.

    • Leads and or Supports Corrective and Preventative Actions.

    • Performs all other duties as directed.

    • Oversite of calibration and environmental monitoring activities and processes.

    Job Qualifications

    Required:

    • Minimum of 5 years of quality operations experience within medical device manufacturing, service or distribution environment, with strong concentration in compliance and/or quality assurance.

    • Previous experience with Quality operations.

    • Previous management experience

    • Demonstrate ability to take initiative, meet deadlines, and work in a cross functional team environment.

    • Change agent with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

    • Experience using and working within software-based quality management systems.

    • The role is based in the Breinigsville, Pa distribution center 5 days per week.

    • This is a full-time role in a warehouse environment with considerable time standing and walking.

    • Ability to lift up to 25lbs. as needed.

    Preferred:

    • Bachelor of Science, Engineering, or Scientific discipline, or equivalent knowledge recommended.

    • Experience in a regulated industry. Applied knowledge of ISO/FDA standards and regulations a plus
