  • Title: Supervisor, Production Location: United States-Illinois-Rockford Job Number: 14615 SUMMARY The Production Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of employees and must comply with all safety, quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES + Supervise all personnel and operations on shift. + Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment. + Report any process and equipment problems. + Organize work for smooth operation. + Assure that established policy, rules, regulations, and procedures are followed. + Responsible for all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping of the area. + Meet production quality and quantity standards on the shift. + Strong judgment and decision making. + Must possess coaching and development skills. + All other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES + Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. + Planning, assigning, and directing work. + Appraising performance. + Rewarding and disciplining employees. + Addressing complaints and resolving problems. Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE + Associate of Arts degree (AA) or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school, or 4 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Prior experience in the aviation industry, required. + FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license, required.
