Submarine Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineering Technician

We are pipelining candidates for future roles. Contingent upon Contract Award and Funding

Amentum is seeking Submarine Integrated Logistics support in Groton, CT.

Perform all aspects of Submarine Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) of submarine CWITT modernization process to include but not limited to the responsibilities listed below.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Perform inventory management, material coordination, data entry, and property control in support of various supply activities and/or equipment installations.

2. Assist technicians with equipment removal/installations during the submarine modernization process.

3. Create, complete and verify receiving/shipping documentation, noting and reporting discrepancies and damages.

4. Must be familiar with the NAVSEA submarine modernization ILS processes including ILS Certification, Risk Assessment & Waiver, configuration management, supply support/provisioning, ILS product delivery/installation, and RMMCO check-in/check-out requirements.

5. Provide logistic deck plate support to removal/installation team leads.

6. Store, stack and palletize heavy, sensitive and controlled government electronic equipment within the mandated safety regulations.

7. Operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.

8. Perform miscellaneous quality assurance duties including inspections, inventory process checks, inspecting and examining materials, article inspections, etc.

9. Responsible for inventory management of decentralized controlled items, including supplies, and equipment.

10. Generate and submit configuration files in support of submarine modernization process.

11. Must have familiarity with the following systems: Configuration Data Manager Database-Open Architecture (CDMD-OA), Navy Data Environment (NDE), Supportability Integrated Logistics Capability (SILC), Technical Data Management Information System (TDMIS), Navy Tool for Interoperability and Risk Assessment (NTIRA)

Minimum Requirements

• Must have an Active Secret U.S. Government clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to maintain a Secret clearance.

• Five (5) years of practical experience and High School diploma/GED OR Three (3) years practical experience and an Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, math, or science; or Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications; or four-year electronics apprentice program.

• Practical military service/commercial application material/supply function experience.

• Knowledgeable of governing supply systems/programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals or other established guidelines.

• Candidates must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to effectively collaborate with a wide range of internal and external organizations at multiple levels of management.

• Candidates must be highly motivated and well organized with strong project management skills.

• Must be capable of working independently or in a team environment.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a government driving permit.

• Ability to travel as required.
