Job Description

As a Structural Engineer at Actalent, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and evaluation of structural systems and components for a diverse range of projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that our designs meet client requirements, adhere to industry standards, and prioritize safety and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design using industry

-standard software and methodologies.

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.

• Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate existing structures and identify potential issues.

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project requirements and deliverables.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafting staff.

• Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and codes in the field of structural engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required; Master's degree preferred.

• 4+ years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in a consulting or design firm.

• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, and/or STAAD Pro.

• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
