Stretch Blow Molding Technicians

If you answered "Yes" to any of these questions, we want to speak to you!Our Stretch Blow Molding (SBM) Department is looking to add additional technicians to our ~~~ this position, you will operate stretch blow molding machines, complete changeovers for tooling/colorant/materials, inspect and pack product, and perform scheduled charting and inspections on machines and associated equipment. The starting pay is $25/hour.

These positions train on 1st Shift, but once training is complete the position would be assigned to an off-shift such as 2nd or 3rd.

1st Shift - M-F 7 AM to 3 PM

2nd Shift - M-F 3 PM to 11 PM

3rd Shift - M-F 11 PM to 7 AM

2nd and 3rd Shift also offer a +$2/hour shift differential.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Start and stop machines to produce quality, rigid-plastic bottles.

• Perform routine inspections, cleaning & lubricating and/or tightening of machine assembles.

• Perform product inspections using test equipment, statistical quality methods & visual inspection techniques.

• Pack product into boxes/cartons at designated production-line speeds according to specifications & stack packed cartons to build 4 ft. high units.

• Perform as a responsible team member to maintain a clean, safe, and effective work environment.

• Operate machines, pull seepage, change materials, assist in changeovers and identify start and stop of out-of-spec production (heldware)

• Additional tasks related to Quality, GMP's, Food Safety, and ISO

Qualifications

The Perfect Candidate for this job will possess

• One to three years technical experience in a manufacturing environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Plastics Manufacturing experience is desired

• Experience with Nissei machines is preferable, we have 50's and 70's at our facility

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

• Exceptional attention to detail

• The ability to work as a team

• The skill set to be self-motivated and not require a great deal of oversight or direction once trained

• A proven track record of mechanical aptitude

• The ability to stand and move continuously for an eight-hour shift

• The ability to climb ladders, stoop, and bend continuously throughout an eight-hour shift

• The ability to be assigned to 2nd or 3rd Shift once training is complete
