LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Sr. UI/UX Designer for a 6-month contract to hire opportunity with our client in Central Illinois! Designer, you will be tasked with the following:

• UI/UX Designer

• We are looking for a user interface/experience designer who will be responsible for the design and user experience of varied software systems across platforms owning and evolving a company-wide design system, and maintaining brand consistency across web, mobile, and embedded applications.

• We need someone who follows and is passionate about the latest research in

• UI/UX and can take that information and synthesize it into great looking and efficient applications, as well as communicate their thinking to both business and technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with business experts to deeply understand their problems and to create and communicate user interface designs that solve them, while fitting within our company system landscape and vision.

• Generating UI Specifications and requirements for development in collaboration with product owners and IT leadership.

• Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design system for the company.

• Expert on new research, trends, and best practices in design, and can clearly communicate the rationale behind design choices to business and technical collaborators.

• Producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.

• Ensuring compliance with industry best practices and legal requirements (such as ADA).

• Testing / evaluating UI designs following development for quality, compliance, and ease-of-use.

• User Interface/User Experience Design 2

Qualifications

Must have 5+ years of experience with the following:

• UI/UX design experience for digital products or services.

• A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.

• Working experience with the following technologies and software: Figma, InVision, HTML, CSS (SCSS), and Single-Page Applications.

• ~~~, vite, Progressive Web Applications, iOS, and/or Android development is a plus.

• Collaborative team player, but effective working independently as needed

• Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)

• Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer

Colorado Pay Range

20.00 - 125.00/per Hour
