    Job Summary and Qualifications

    As Sr Tax Accountant you will coordinate compliance for Business Credits and Incentives, maximizing realization of incentives. Serve as SME for credits and incentives system and underlying reporting / data analytics.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Coordinate compliance for credits and incentives, maintaining calendars and related tasks;

    • Supervise / review work performed by external consultants, ensuring that the consultants obtain necessary information and prepare a complete compliance package;

    • Monitor compliance with agreed upon stipulations, including completion of all paperwork, applications and forms;

    • Work with internal and external partners to maximize realization of incentives

    • Collaborate with various internal departments, consultants, economic development leadership, and other public and private sector stakeholders;

    • Track and report cost / benefit of incentives (federal, state, local and private sector)

    • Prepare financial reports, analyses and budgetary information;

    • Coordinate enhancement requests for incentive solution(s);

    • Learn our credits and incentives system, acting as liaison with external provider and internal users;

    • Establish and maintain system & non-system controls, processes and procedures;

    • Design, implement and run dashboards and reports to measure performance, establish benchmarks, historical success rates and future projections.

    What qualifications you will need:

    • Bachelors Degree is required; (Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting is preferred)

    • 3-7 years of experience
