We are currently seeking a Senior Systems Analyst for a great client in the Houston Texas area!

This position provides technical support for our in-house developed Natural Gas Measurement System (CMS). The primary

support focus is providing support and assistance to the Natural Gas Measurement & Material Balance (MMB)

group. This position supports business users, participates in all relevant change management activities, and is

responsible for overall service delivery and customer satisfaction.

A successful candidate will interact with core business users and work as an integral team member of our CMS support team. The Senior Systems Analyst will work effectively with minimal supervision; maintain ownership for specific system function(s) and/or set of business users, facilitate communications between the business and IT, assist with all relevant

change management activities, and deliver excellent customer service.

responsibilities

• Support existing CMS business application by troubleshooting issues, analyzing possible cause, defining

• solutions, and working through defined change control processes to enable quick resolution.

• Work directly with end users and business analysts to understand new/changing business requirements and functional enhancements as requested.

• Develop technical specifications, develop and/or test solutions in support of business requirements.

• Facilitate and coordinate end user support by timely acknowledgement and completion of initial bug triage and assessments.

• Acquire and maintain system and business knowledge needed to support both end users and other internal or external technical teams.

• Support custom interfaces, system enhancements and ETL processes as required.

• Support large installed base of stored procedures, and views.

• Participate in large IT projects when needed.

• Industry knowledge: Natural gas Measurement & Material Balance.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience is required.

• 3+ years of experience Natural gas industry experience preferred, but not required.

• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, integrating, and supporting enterprise commercial applications is required.

• Understanding of client server environments/architecture and Citrix.

• 5+ years of experience developing and supporting SQL-based applications is required.

• 5+ years of experience PowerBuilder development experience, 2021 and/or 2022 preferred.

• 5+ Experience with SQL Server 2016 and above is required.

• 3+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL is preferred, but not required.

• Proven ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and technology staff.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• strong problem solving, analytical decision-making skills.

• Self-motivated team player with vision and initiative.

• May require rotational shift for after-hours business support and/or technical maintenance.

• Must be able to travel up to 10%.
