    Key Qualifications

    • 5+ years working in quality engineering experience or tool & automation development experience

    • Familiar with computer science fundamentals, including operating systems and TCP/IP networking

    • Experience in developing test cases/strategies for qualifying features & applications on iOS or similar products

    • Experience with shipping consumer products and/or services

    • Experience automating test cases with Python or other scripting languages

    • Experience with developing with C/C++, Objective C, Swift is a plus

    • Thrive in a reciprocal environment and can clearly communicate while deftly driving multiple projects across many teams

    • Obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways

    • Passionate about Home Automation and IoT space

    Description

    The Home QE team is looking for a highly reciprocal and motivated team member with a real passion for quality engineering in home automation. You will be testing Home features, automating new & existing test cases, and developing tools to improve efficiency of testing. You will be also exposed to multiple wireless network technologies and protocol stacks along with cloud based automation infrastructure. You should join the Home QE team if you want to help deliver amazing experiences in the Apple Home ecosystem.

    Education & Experience

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.

    • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,700.00 and $241,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
