Sr. IT Project Manager

Major responsibilities

• Provides detailed reporting to management on project status, risk assessments, and milestone completion

• Forms schedules and milestones, manages project scope and timelines, and inputs from all other teams assigns to that product

• Interacts with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects

• Coordinates and directs the sprint planning and grooming meetings and marks ticket assignments

• Functions as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - clearing obstacles, ensuring the team is working effectively, and leading scrum ceremonies

• Arranges the daily stand-ups, assuring they are focused, timely, and brief

• Cooperates and communicates with developers, technical team members, designers, and stakeholders

• Secure that the functional requirements are achievable, tracked, and met

• Assembles report from business analysts, QA leads, and technical leads into an analysis

• Lead the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

• Provides the RACI matrix for projects in a product line

• Verifies project with exact ticket workflows and boards

• Administers deployment scheduling in coordination with tech lead, Product Owner, and Dev Ops

• Tracks and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner

• In partnership with the Product Owner/Product Manager, you will facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap

• Assist cross-product teams to manage dependencies

• Oversees project planning

• Cooperate closely with the Product Specialist, QA Manager, Business Analyst, Product Owner/Product Manager

• Works with Product Owner/Product Manager to ensure that the product vision and high-level business objectives are clear and achievable

• Betters to manage, classify, and identify risk for functional improvement requests Requirements - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organization

• Experience in utilizing resource tools to manage capacity, forecast, demand and allocation of people

• Experience leading medium to large custom and/or complex software development and/or implementation projects

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of education and work experience

• 5+ years of project management experience

• Knowledge of Agile delivery teams, projects and programs

• Comfortable managing complex cross-functional and technology projects

• Skilled in technical applications including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, etc.) and JIRA or similar application Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
