Sr. Formulation Technician

Adecco is currently assisting an American supplier of scientific instrumentation, reagents and consumables, and software services in recruiting for Production and Industrial - Formulation Technician II in Sunnyvale, CA.

Schedule: M-F from 6:00AM-2:30PM, With overtime as needed.

Pay Rate: The wage for this position is between $24 and $28. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

Work in a team-based environment within a manufacturing lab responsible for synthesizing and testing ion exchange media used in chromatography consumables.

JOB DETAILS:

• Perform testing and qualification of resin products to meet customer criteria.

• Record and report test results accurately and maintain proper documentation.

• Complete complex production work-orders according to established procedures.

• Analyze data, derive conclusions, and prepare reports based on findings.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Adhere to ISO 9001 guidelines and corporate quality requirements.

• Follow EH&S safety requirements and actively participate in safety improvement activities.

• Continuously identify areas for improvement and propose countermeasures.

• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma / equivalent required.

• At least 1+ years of experience in manufacturing environment

• A bachelors in chemistry and or biotechnology preferred.

• Knowledge of Laboratory standard and Good Manufacturing Practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

• Good mathematical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills(verbal and written).

• Ability to read and understand written procedures (SOPs) and follow verbal instructions.

• Familiarity with hand tools regularly used (wrenches, torque drivers, tweezer, etc.)

• Willingness to learn and apply Lean manufacturing practices.

• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

• Ownership mentality and able to meet established targets.

• Understanding of production schedules and ability to prioritize tasks accordingly.

• Hands-on experience in a Chemistry laboratory preferred.

• Knowledges of Chromatography software a plus.
