    Your Career

    The IT team at Palo Alto Networks is looking for a Sr. CPQ Business Analyst.

    You will apply an open communication and collaborative style and lead by example, being both customer-centric and service-minded, able to interact with end-users, executives, analysts, and technical colleagues - creating consensus and clear strategy where appropriate.

    Your Impact

    • Responsible for the developing Quote to order process for the new offer launch

    • Analyze offer needs and document business requirements in a consistent manner

    • Identify needs via regular communication with business stakeholders. Perform requirements elicitation efficiently via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, interviews, documentation, etc. Translate business needs into business requirements, make specification of detailed functional requirements in the form of user stories working closely with CPQ Product managers

    • Analyze and implement change requests working with key users, Product managers, CPQ development, and external IT Partner(s)

    • System configuration. Perform Salesforce CPQ configuration when a solution can be provided without customization/coding, for example, by setting up products and pricing rules, templates, reports, roles, etc.

    • Support end-to-end testing prior to user acceptance testing - Coordinate validation activities and ensure processing of findings (bugs, change requests). Support business in the validation process acting as an expert regarding the system functionality

    • Support training collaborating with Sales enablement team and help develop training materials about the CPQ automation

    • You will be owning testing/certifying the end product that will be used by Sales team

    • You will be developing "How to Use Guides" and collateral to be used by the Sales team

    • You will be instrumental in helping PANW scale globally with aligned sales buying processes, simplify end to end Quote to order current state processes, identify pain points and continuously improve processes

    Your Experience

    • 6+ years of relevant experience working in the Quote to Order space with the breadth of experience in developing process flows, , analysis and documentation

    • Worked extensively in the quoting platform preferably Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce platform

    • Proven track record of analyzing complex processes and driving execution of those improvements

    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Superlative collaboration mindset - this is a highly cross-functional role

    Disclosure required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum compensation (includes on-target earnings = base + on target incentives for sales roles) for this role to be located in the state of Colorado. If hired in Colorado, this position starts at $90,400/yr. Depending on the position offered, restricted stock units and incentive or bonus pay may be provided as part of this compensation package.
