    Overview

    This position is responsible for the administration of all company-wide health & welfare benefits plans as well as special projects. Identifies opportunities for continual process improvement and cost savings. This is a hybrid position working out or our Lancaster PA corporate office.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Day-to-Day Administration

    • Responds to all employee inquiries and requests for information from government agencies and third- party vendors in a timely manner. Reviews healthcare subpoenas, prepares QMSCOs, health verifications and Medicare requests for employment forms

    • Ensures payroll deductions are accurate and makes needed updates to payroll deductions in the SAP ECP system

    • Provides support to both the disability vendor and the field Human Resources (HR) team with leave of absence and FML questions. Ensures employees on leave of absence are coded correctly and deductions are accurate. Administers benefit billing and reconciliation process for employees on an unpaid leave of absence

    • Prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly vendor invoicing by extracting reports from benefit enrollment system

    • Manages the Well4Life wellness program. Recommends design and program changes and implements approved changes, tracks participation, prepares reporting, coordinates annual on-site biometric events and ensures wellness credits are applied accurately to all participants

    • Processes death claims for active and retired employees

    • Serves as backup to Senior 401(k) Benefit Analyst

    Benefit Communication

    • Manages gpcbenefits internal website and ensures that changes made to benefit plans and policies are immediately updated on the site

    • Develops, maintains, and updates annually, the Benefit department's employee benefit communications calendar. Capitalizes on vendor educational resources and distribution support. Uses the "myGraham" app as a communication avenue

    • Authors bi-monthly Wellness Newsletter

    • Prepares and updates where needed, all Open Enrollment communication. Creates presentation and conducts "train the trainer" sessions for HR field team

    Compliance

    • Maintains a thorough understanding of benefit plan regulations, and is aware of ongoing updates to regulations

    • Ensures all health and welfare benefit plan documents, summary plan descriptions (SPDs), summary of benefits and coverage (SBCs), benefit guides and summary, and informational brochures are accurate and comply with ERISA and all government regulations

    • Works with third party vendors to prepare statutory filings and perform discrimination testing. Ensures timely completion and submission of required reports, such as annual Form 5500 and RxDc

    Data Integrity

    • Establishes, updates and monitors interfaces in coordination with health and welfare vendors to ensure eligibility and deduction data is accurate. Troubleshoots all issues

    • Reviews, researches and resolves weekly data file discrepancies an

    • Completes regular audits

    Qualifications

    Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field

    • 4+ years' experience in benefit administration

    • Experience partnering with management and staff in a team based environment

    • Work independently and in cooperation with others on multiple activities, with flexibility to manage competing demands and changing priorities

    • Track record of ability to handle duties of a confidential nature with judgment and discretion

    • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

    • Excellent computer skills particularly with Excel and HRIS skills using Success Factors, SAP ECP or other similar systems

    • Knowledge of 401(k) administration a plus

    Compensation Statement

    The expected salary range for the position described in this posting is made in accordance with the legal mandates of certain jurisdictions within the United States. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual qualifications and experience.

    Benefits Statement
