Software Engineer

Seeking an experienced software engineer to help develop, test and integrate software on an existing military vehicle platform. Candidates must have C++, Linux and repository knowledge, Git preferred.

Description

• Will be working on existing military vehicle platform (Modular Active Protective Systems, aka MAPS) developing software following organizational standard software processes

• Work with the government customer to develop software requirements

• Design software following existing/defined architectures

• Integrate and Test software post development

• Work with government customer to identify key areas of improvement within the integration

Top Skills Details

C++ - must have 4 years minimum developing with

Linux - must have experience with developing within Linux and understand Linux commands

Repository - Git is preferred, but must have repository knowledge

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Software development lifecycle - understanding of both front end and back end - most work will be done on front end

• Project management - communicating project status updates

• Requirements definition - what role have they played within defining requirements, modifying or providing input
