    Required Skills:

    Software Engineer, Embedded Responsibilities:

    1. Design and implement components at all layers of the system including kernel, synchronization primitives, resource allocators, memory management, security, I/O systems, and persistence.

    2. Design and implement drivers and services that deliver large volumes of data with low-latency and high-bandwidth.

    3. Debug complex, system-level, multi-component issues that span across multiple layers from kernel to application.

    4. Profile performance problems and drive optimizations spanning the entire software stack.

    5. Bring up new devices and lead debugging and performance tuning exercises that span multiple hardware/firmware/software teams.

    6. Understand software components from multiple partner teams, lead the integration of those components into the unified product code base, and drive their continued development.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications

    1. Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Information Systems, Applied Sciences, Mathematics,Physics, or related field and two years of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Requires two years of experience in the following:

      1. C/C++ coding
      1. Contributing to large scale software development
      1. Developing algorithms and high-performance firmware and software
      1. Kernel development for industrial and consumer electronic products
      1. Hardware architecture, bring up and debug
      1. Linux kernel or RTOS driver models and frameworks around hardware accelerators for audio, camera, or modem
      1. Embedded firmware development on X86 and arm platforms
      1. Debugging low level firmware, leveraging tools such as JTAG
      1. Hardware bring-up using interfaces like ADC, GPIO, SPI, or I2C
      1. Developing, debugging, and shipping software products on large code base platforms or tools
      1. Software development processes including source control, bug tracking, or design documentation
      1. Device driver development, embedded systems, or operating systems.

    Public Compensation:

    $215,658/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits
