POSITION: Shipping

REPORTS TO: Production Manager

BASIC FUNCTION: Inspect, package and ship work orders

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use paperwork and/or mobile device to determine job requirements and inventory locations

• Pull all required material

• Package products appropriately to ensure safe delivery to the customer

• Verify that the material, quantity, dimensions etc. match order requirements

• Verify that the material has the proper finish or is of the specified color

• Check materials to ensure that quality standards are met

• Ensure that the materials are properly marked/tagged

• Complete all necessary paperwork and electronic transactions necessary to issue material from inventory and document shipping transactions

COMPANY WIDE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support and follow Balco, Inc.'s Business Policy

• Follow all applicable Procedures and Work Instructions

• Initiate preventative and corrective actions for problems with product or processes

• Demonstrate company values

• Follow all safety rules and regulations as directed by Balco

• Any other assignments, duties or responsibilities as directed by the Supervisor or Executive Management

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to read and understand blueprints

• Strong work ethic; self-starter, motivated to set and achieve goals

• Strong attention to detail.

• Positive, professional demeanor

• Demonstrated ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds properly to prevent injury to yourself and others without damaging material/product

• Stand/walk for up to 10 hours daily while performing job requirements

• Be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach

• Forklift training and certification

• Strong computer/mobile device aptitude
