  • Description

    The Senior Information Technology (IT) Project Manager executes project management processes and methodologies for the IT division, ensuring that project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, adhere to IT and client's standards, and meet or exceed customer expectations.

    • Leads project teams in the implementation efforts for projects and or programs lead by the team, ensuring that they are accurate, secure and efficient.

    • Manages key project milestones, adjusting project plans and/or resources as indicated.

    • Presents project status to stakeholders on a regular basis.

    • Creates and manages project management documentation (project scope, project plans/schedules, project logs, status reports, issues management, etc).

    • Ensures that project implementation (designs, development, testing plans, change orders, etc.).

    • Directs and monitors work on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review, and escalating functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately. Facilitates issue resolution.

    • Manages the contractual commitments, scopes of work, budgets, and timelines of multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Manage the project and clients where the project team, client structure and/or project location creates greater challenges and various levels of risk.

    • Manage the project review process and other quality control guidelines are followed.

    • Mentor high potentials for development in the project manager career path.

    • Manage project scope, cost, schedule and quality to meet stakeholder expectations.

    • Manage project status, risks, forecasted completion and costs to all stakeholders.

    • Direct preparation and approval of monthly internal reports.

    • Present reports and status of project execution and financial performance to executive management.

    • Consult with clients in concepts and designs.

    • Assure compliance to company policies in all project aspects.

    • Serve as the Technical advisor, providing senior level input, evaluation and guidance on issues.

    • Approve process and procedure improvements to ensure maximum efficiencies and accuracy.

    • Responsible for ad hoc reporting for Accounting or Division Executive Management.

    • Interpret and establish policies, procedures, and strategic goals of the organization.

    • Develop the Department business plan.

    • Determine departmental objectives and requirements, organize projects and develop standards and guidelines.

    • Present project meetings when requested by division.

    • Develop department tools and workflows to increase efficiency of designs, specification development, and project execution.

    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    • Complies with all policies and standards.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or Computer Sciences or a related technical field from accredited program. and 14 years related experience in Information Technology required.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • The ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead, and manage change.

    • Demonstrated success in project management.

    • Proficiency in the use of basic computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
