    Practice: The Health Care Compliance (HCC) Practice is part of the Disputes & Economics Business Group. The HCC Practice Group assists health care providers, payors, life sciences companies, and pharmacy organizations, largely in the US marketplace, complying with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide direction and assist in the management of revenue cycle management projects as well as in the implementation of client driven programmatic solutions.

    • Assist in the management of key projects across the practice.

    • You will be a part of a team that implements processes, reviews policies, and increases awareness of revenue cycle management.

    • You will be part of a team that completes projects in all areas of the revenue cycle, including assessments, performance improvement, project management, and other needs defined by clients.

    • Provide mentorship, guidance and direction to the Directors, Associates and Senior Associates on the team.

    • Provide regular, accurate, and concise updates to Healthcare and Life Sciences senior leadership on defined productivity and accuracy metrics.

    • Be responsive to change and direction from senior leadership and be able to communicate said changes to the team.

    Requirements:

    • A bachelor's degree focused on finance, hospital administration, law, etc.

    • Ten plus years' experience relating to healthcare revenue cycle management with a thorough knowledge and understanding of regulations, EHR and billing systems.

    • Demonstrable experience of reading, understanding, and applying the rules and regulations that control compliant billing and collections.

    • Proficiency in reading and understanding regulatory materials and governmental guidance documents.

    • A solid foundation in revenue cycle fundamentals including all areas from access through billing and collecting, and CPT/HCPCS coding, as well as analytic tools including excel and tableau.

    • A basic understanding of healthcare provider regulations (e.g., research regulations, False Claims Act, Stark Law, Conflicts of Interest, etc.).
