    Senior Data Migration Quality Analyst Overview

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Migration Quality Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis, data quality assessment, and migration, along with proficiency in programming languages such as SQL and statistical packages like MS Excel, SAS, and SPSS. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

    Senior Data Migration Quality Analyst Responsibilities

    • Gather and thoroughly document business rules related to data migration projects.

    • Define comprehensive data quality rules to ensure the accuracy and integrity of migrated data.

    • Conduct data quality profiling and assessment testing to identify potential issues and discrepancies.

    • Execute data cleansing activities to address data inconsistencies and inaccuracies.

    • Track and manage complicated data cleansing processes to ensure completeness and accuracy.

    • Create and execute data queries to identify coding issues and data exceptions.

    • Identify and interpret trends within the data to provide insights and recommendations.

    • Report data analysis findings to business management, highlighting key insights and areas for improvement.

    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data quality analysts.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective data migration strategies.

    • Stay updated on leading practice data frameworks and incorporate best practices into data migration processes.

    Senior Data Migration Quality Analyst Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

    • At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on data quality assessment and migration.

    • Proficiency in programming languages, particularly SQL, for data querying and manipulation.

    • Extensive experience with statistical packages, including MS Excel, SAS, and SPSS.

    • Experience with Oracle R12 a big plus

    • Demonstrable experience performing root cause analysis to identify and resolve data issues.

    • Strong experience in creating data approaches and presentations for various stakeholders.

    • Knowledge of leading practice data frameworks and methodologies.

    • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

    • Advanced problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

    • Experience in supervising and mentoring data quality analysts is preferred.

    Salary range $65-85/hour W2. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
