The Senior Business Analyst creates, maintains and enhances product design and related documentation and to effectively communicate with management and functional areas by presenting problem resolution, product information and status reports in a professional manner. Analyzes, investigates, negotiates and resolves problems to ensure product integrity. Acquires and enhances understanding of product knowledge and customer requirements for personal and career development. Provides competent leadership, and highly specialized and technical guidance to complex challenges.
What you will do:
Lead the effort for highly complex projects and moderate to highly complex programs.
Define strategy, business process, and systems scope.
Apply expert understanding of business process analysis and requirements management practices and principles.
Apply process improvement and business re-engineering methodologies.
Develop cost estimates and apply portfolio management concepts.
Improve business processes by analyzing business models, data models, and hybrid enterprise models.
Lead group facilitation, interviewing, training, as well as facilitate knowledge transfer to stakeholders.
What you will need:
7+ years of professional experience
Advanced knowledge of technologies relevant to the engagement, SDLC methodology and UML.
Prior experience performing cost-benefit analysis, trending, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
U.S. Citizenship required (required by federal government for position).
What would be good to have:
Experience applying business analysis on moderately to highly complex projects
Ability to create management level reporting using aggregated bank data
Specialized experience includes use of structured analysis, design methodologies, design tools, entity relationship modeling, and experience with data architectures.
Knowledge of IT Governance, OMB Reporting, and TBM Financial practices
Experience leading the work of teammates and managing relationships with executive stakeholders
