  • ASRC Federal is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Benefits Manager with a strong product focus and commitment to exceptional employee experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and manages our health and welfare plans, retirement, leave of absence administration and wellness programs. Experience in the government contracting industry, Service Contract Act and collective bargaining agreements strongly desired. This role will work in our Reston, VA headquarters office two to three times a week.

    What You Will Do

    • Responsible for the administration of the health and welfare, retirement, leave and wellness programs in a dynamic and complex organization

    • Manage benefits team and programs, working with internal and external partners

    • Responsible for the overall administration and successful employee experience using the Alight benefit administration platform

    • Coordinate with benefit consultants to deliver compliant, accurate and competitive benefits

    • Manage the leave of absence process, including FMLA, disability, parental and military leave, and state leave programs

    • Develop and lead employee communications, benefit policies, processes, and programs

    • Oversee the Wellness Program that encourages and improves the overall well-being of the organization's workforce

    • Develop and deliver in-person and virtual benefits presentations

    • Responsible for the monthly bill reconciliation process, ensuring accurate benefit/data costs and allocation

    • Responsible for compliance with applicable regulations, plan documents/summaries and company policies

    Requirements :

    • 10 years of benefits experience required with history of increasing responsibility.

    • Bachelor's degree, or at least equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

    • Experience developing and presenting analyses to lead and drive initiatives.

    • Experience with HR/payroll business systems, and third party benefit enrollment platforms required.

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

    • Strong problem solving, critical/analytical thinking abilities, with ability to manage end to end processes.

    • Strong leadership experience building and leading high-performing teams.

    • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.

    • Experience in the government contracting industry, Service Contract Act and collective bargaining agreements strongly desired.
