    We are recruiting for a Customer Service Representative role based in Norther Bergen County, New Jersey. The job function involves working within the Retail sector, addressing customer needs and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity where the individual will primarily interact with customers via various channels including email, phone, live chat, and social media.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service at all times.

    • Handle and resolve customer issues and complaints across multiple channels in a timely manner.

    • Anticipate potential obstacles to customer satisfaction and take proactive steps to prevent them.

    • Assist customers with a wide range of inquiries including product queries, returns, delivery, registration, and payments.

    • Strive to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including sales, quality, and productivity targets.

    • Collaborate with colleagues across the Customer Care team and other internal departments to continuously improve service and knowledge.

    • Skillfully manage inbound and outbound calls, ensuring customer needs are addressed effectively.

    • Accurately perform data entry tasks and manage appointment schedules.

    • Proficiently use Microsoft Excel and Word to maintain customer records and process orders.

    • Handle email correspondence professionally and promptly.

    Requirements - Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

    • Experience in answering inbound calls and handling both inbound and outbound calls.

    • Proven ability in providing exceptional customer service.

    • Previous experience in a call center customer service role is desirable.

    • Ability to perform data entry tasks with high accuracy.

    • Experience in managing email correspondence with customers.

    • Familiarity with order entry processes.

    • Capacity to schedule appointments effectively.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

    • Ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.

    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.

    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
