    Are you passionate about amplifying Latinx voices in literature? Do you have a knack for business development and a keen eye for identifying growth opportunities? We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Sales/Business Development Manager for our newly launched Primero Sueño Press imprint, as well as all other S&S titles across our Adult, Children and Audio businesses, relevant to the Latinx market. The role of the Sales/Business Development Manager is to identify and develop new outlets as well as to expand existing ones.

    This is an exciting opportunity to drive sales growth in a vibrant market, while collaborating with industry-leading professionals across publishing, editorial, publicity, and marketing.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, maintain, manage, and grow Latinx audience sales, generating new business and establish Latinx customer partnerships.

    • Develop a thorough knowledge of the company's authors and books and determine the best strategy to reach the target audience.

    • Deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients and internal stakeholders, showcasing the value and relevance of our offerings.

    • Collaborate closely with marketing and publicity teams to execute fully integrated campaigns that resonate with Latinx readers.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in sales or marketing with a demonstrated focus on the Latinx market.

    • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.

    • Must have exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills, with a talent for translating ideas into clear, high-impact communications.

    • Must have a fair amount of comfort presenting in front individuals, as well as the ability to engage and negotiate effectively with clients.

    • A passion for and/or experience in books is strongly preferred.

    The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
