Remote Sr. Technical Infrastructure Project Manager

Job Description

A world-renowned Healthcare Hospital System is seeking Sr. Technical Infrastructure PM to take over the Project Management aspects of the work currently being handled by the Sr. Director within the High-Performance Computing team that sits within the Research Technology Services department. The right candidate will assist in developing, implementing, and measuring a broad range of initiatives the Sr. Director. This individual will be responsible for Project Managing this data center decomm from all aspects and should understand the data center environment from all roles and capacities. Additionally, the incumbent is expected to provide broad insight and thought leadership around various business initiatives. The position requires flexibility and ability to effectively function in a dynamic environment, especially white space, including the ability to address ad hoc projects that arise based on developing business needs with urgency while balancing other priorities. This person will be acting as the right-hand person to this executive and should be comfortable acting in that capacity.

Skills and Requirements

7-10+ years as Technical Infrastructure PM

MUST HAVE EXTENSIVE UNDERSTANDING OF GPU AND CPU

HPC Systems

Cloud Computing

Extensive Infrastructure background and experience

Experience Project Managing a Data Center Decomm

Comfortable meeting with stakeholders to discuss steady state and future state

Prepare presentations and other related tasks.

Collaborate on all aspects of annual performance management process and talent assessments with leadership. .

Measuring, tracking, and defining metrics

Setting milestones / running weekly standup meetings null
