    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to establish privacy by design (PbD) safeguards.

    • Conduct privacy reviews of data flows and advise product teams, engineers, and data analysts on privacy requirements and privacy best practices and controls.

    • Advise on the application of data subject rights (e.g., access, opt out, deletion, correction) throughout the data life cycle.

    • Develop, advise on, and maintain privacy and data protection documentation including, PIAs, data protection assessments, data minimization data retention policies, records of processing, privacy notices and policies, Transfer Impact Assessments, and others.

    • Advise the business on privacy technology trends, privacy-enhancing technologies, and support product and engineering teams in designing solutions and analytics controls.

    • Design and deliver training, guidelines, and best practices on privacy and data protection matters for both legal and non-legal teams.

    • Build strong relationships with leaders across functions and gain a deep understanding of each team's operations to integrate privacy best practices.

    • Stay updated on changes and developments in privacy laws, regulations, standards, and guidance, and adjust guidelines for business practices and processes accordingly.

    • Provide privacy expertise to support LiveRamp's data products and services.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor (undergraduate) degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Security, or others) OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

    • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in a combination of several of the following: privacy engineering, information security, cloud architecture, network architecture, systems engineering, consumer data management, data governance, data management, data clean rooms, data protection, privacy enhancing technologies, PbD methodologies, database engineering.

    • Knowledge and/or experience in the following fields: CTV, OTT, digital advertising, martech, adtech, data management, data integration, privacy enhancing technologies, data clean rooms, identity, cloud, or analytics environments.

    • Understanding of data protection requirements, including US privacy laws and GDPR and common privacy principles across global laws and regulations and an understanding of data privacy rights.

    • Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify technical content for diverse audiences, including business teams, legal departments, regulators, etc.

    • Strong understanding of the data and privacy landscape, proficiency in complex data flows, and the ability to devise creative solutions for global privacy and data protection.

    Preferred:

    • Privacy certifications or other similar privacy certifications (e.g., CIPM, CIPT, CISSP, CIPP/US, and/or CIPP/E certifications).

    • Knowledge about self-regulatory frameworks of IAB, NAI, DAA, ANA.

    • Familiarity with online and programmatic advertising.

    • Knowledge of various consent mechanisms such as consent strings, universal opt-out mechanisms (UOOM), Global Privacy Control (GPC), IAB GPP and TCF, consent management platforms (CMPs), how consumer choice signals are transferred between parties.

    • Experience working with SaaS at a global tech company.

    • Experience preparing and presenting reports to senior level management

    • Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision

    • Team player with willingness to quickly pivot as privacy landscape shifts.

    The approximate annual base compensation range is $144,000 to $170,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geography, as well as internal equity among our team.
