Precast Concrete Laborer - Saratoga Springs, NY

Collins Companies, Pallette Stone Corporation is seeking a Precast Concrete Laborer at our Saratoga Springs, NY facility. The selected candidate will become a member of the Teamsters Union Local 294 and will enjoy the wages and benefits afforded to its members.

Essential functions of the position :

• Construct forms out of steel or wood using basic carpentry skills.

• Operate basic hand & power tools

• Install miscellaneous materials in erecting concrete structures

• Check forms while concrete is being placed

• Operate lull and other equipment associated with production

• Pour & trowel finish concrete

• Assist and direct others in stripping forms after concrete is placed

• Ensure safe work environment in compliance with all safety policy and procedures using appropriate tools and equipment for the task

Qualifications:

• Must be able to review and understand project plans, drawings, and specifications and interpret data

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Job requires bending, climbing, and squatting

• Basic carpentry skills

• Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required

• Heavy physical activity performing strenuous daily activities of a productive/technical nature

• Work outdoors with exposure to changing weather conditions such as rain, sun, snow, and wind

• CDL Class A license preferred, but not required

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen

Precast Concrete Laborer

$30,400-$77,500

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
