We are currently seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to fill an opening in Tampa, FL offering competitive pay, flexible schedules, and great work-life balance.

Details & Responsibilities

• Competitive Pay + medical/dental/vision benefits for full-time providers

• Flexible Schedule:

• Full Time, 40 hours week, M-F 8am-5pm

• No call or weekends required

• Start Date: ASAP

• Credentialing Estimate: 1 month

• Duties:

• This position provides mental health care to a population with mental illness, intellectual and developmental disabilities and high risk for suicide and self-injury.

• Develop Mental Health treatment plans to serve as the basis for treatment.

• Provide individual and group therapy. Perform routine mental health assessments and interviews to determine progress.

• Provide information to psychiatry to include client history, previous diagnoses, and alternative treatment available.

Required Qualifications

• Active/Unrestricted FL License

• BLS/ACLS Certification

• Active/unrestricted DEA

• 1 year experience preferred
