Responsibilities

Provides proper fitting of eye wearincludes lenses and frames, verify eyeglass specifications, performs eyeglass adjustments and repairs. Keeps updated on latest lens and frames technology. Communicates with providers regarding patient/customer eyewear issues.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent. One year optical related experience. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Basic computer knowledge.American Board of Optician Certification. Must obtain certification within one year of hire.

Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.; $20.61 - 28.91/ hour;
