    Responsibilities

    The Nurse Practitioner (NP) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services within our organization. Reporting to [supervising physician/clinical manager], the NP provides comprehensive primary and/or specialty care to patients across the lifespan. This position requires a high level of clinical expertise, autonomy, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

    • In collaboration with the physician/medical director assumes clinical responsibility for tasks performed within Nurse Practitioners scope of practice. Including: taking patients history, performing physical examinations, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, establishing diagnosis and provide care and management for common illnesses and disease prevention in the pediatric and adult patient.

    • The NP may assist in the admission transfer or discharge from Health Care System.

    • Makes appropriate referrals to specialists and community agencies.

    • Participates in quality assurance and quality improvement program.

    • Works within multidisciplinary team to develop plan for the patient and their family.

    **This position will be Monday-Friday to support Sports Medicine and Adult Reconstruction in the Central and West Valley.

    Coverage needs include assisting in the operating room, and covering clinics. As the service continues to grow there may be a call component and coverage needs could expand to weekends and holidays.

    Qualifications

    Minimum:

    Master's Degree in nursing.

    Graduate of accredited program for nurse practitioners.

    Three years clinical experience in healthcare.

    AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State.

    Registered in AZ as nurse practitioner.

    Hold and maintain national certification in NP area, under AZ regulations

    Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification - Nat'l

    Pay Range

    $54.12 - $90.92/hour
