    Monte Nido Portland, located in West Linn, OR is a residential treatment program exclusively for adults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Monte Nido's treatment approach focuses on the restoration of physiological and nutritional balance, implementation of healthy eating and exercise routines, elimination of harmful behaviors, and development of motivation and treatment engagement. Our objective is to help each client achieve a clear understanding of their eating and/or exercise disorder and its effect on their life, as well as an individualized appreciation of what is necessary for their personal recovery.

    We are seeking a Nurse Manager to lead the Nursing team. The schedule is Monday to Friday working days and with on call support every other weekend.

    Responsibilities Include

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Recruit, hire and train adequate and competent department staff.

    2. Monitor and evaluate all aspects of the facility medication

    3. Meet with all clients, individually and as needed to ensure best practice care, treatment and services are provided.

    4. Communicate as needed with pertinent outside treatment professionals and in a manner consistent with MNA processes.

    5. Ensure both admission and discharge processes are maintained to ensure continuity of care with respect to relevant nursing and medical

    6. Maintain the nursing schedule as per the facility and organization needs including but not limited to, managing vacation requests, sick leave, new hire, and additional staffing

    7. Produce and maintain communication which provides detailed and useful information on all current

    8. Ensure quality nursing notes are entered for each patient every shift.

    9. Organize and facilitate laboratory work per provider orders.

    10. Ensure that an admission nursing assessment and care plan(s) for each client are complete per program

    Other Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Ensure provider order for admission is present upon client admission to the program.

    2. Organize and document a monthly nursing meeting and other necessary meetings as

    3. Manage the maintenance of all nursing related spaces and equipment.

    4. Ensure proper nursing documentation is entered for each client to include treatment plans and discharge summaries.

    5. Review and document employee performance 90 days after hire, annually, and as needed per company policy. Manage performance improvement/disciplinary action as warranted and according to policy.

    6. Nurse Manager, or designee to attend and present all necessary nursing related information in the staffing for all

    7. Coordinate with providers to ensure that necessary communication and documentation is maintained; specifically relating to the ongoing medical, psychiatric, nursing and medication management of client

    8. Responsible for oversight of facility's infection control/prevention program.

    9. Responsible for ensuring that there is an on-call nursing staff designated at all

    10. Attend Nursing Leadership calls/meetings monthly, and as needed.

    11. Assist with insurance issues as needed or designated by National Director of Nursing Operations, or

    12. Coordinate and ensure that all admission requirements are completed per organization

    13. Ensure proper destruction / return of all medications is completed per policy and regulatory standards.

    14. Maintain adequate supply of nursing related items at all

    15. Assist with additional program needs as requested by National Director of Nursing Operations, or

    16. Seek opportunities to increase self-knowledge in order to improve the quality of client care

    17. Maintain compliance with Joint Commission and State/License regulatory standards and company policy.

    18. In an emergency or declared state of emergency, may be required to stay onsite as a part of the emergency team until emergency has ended.

    19. Demonstrates ability to identify and refer legal and/or ethical issues in client care to the Clinical Director or Program

    Qualifications

    • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required. BSN or higher preferred.

    • A minimum of two years experience

    • Valid RN license or LPN license in the state of Oregon.

    • BLS certification

    • Comfortable working with EMR

    • Previous experience managing nursing operations, either in a residential or hospital eating disorder setting, is preferred

    • Excellent communication, patient relations, and time management skills; safety awareness; and the ability to work as a member of a treatment team are all required
