    Description

    Semi-skilled employees that will operate industrial concentrator equipment. Employees will work under general supervision in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to learn quickly to operate areas of the concentrator autonomously. Employees will be tasked with making guided decisions to support the primary objective of safe production.

    • Maintain and operate concentrator equipment

    • Perform detailed inspections of operating equipment and operational areas

    • Assist with maintenance activities

    • Complete area housekeeping duties

    • Learn and understand basic metallurgical milling principles

    • Perform other tasks as assigned

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements

    • Three (3) months work experience

    • Must have completed academic and practical competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists) and have experience demonstrating the required aptitude. The selected candidate shall demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and skills while also passing a written assessment where required. This exam is based on skills/abilities and/or academic knowledge; as well as safety.

    • Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards

    • Knowledge of milling, crushing and conveying equipment. Including operating parameters, limits and functionality of equipment

    Criteria/Conditions:

    • Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hart hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.

    The estimated pay range for this role is currently **?$21.00 - $27.50/hour.** This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
