    Position Summary : Provides administrative support to the Medical Staff Operations and Quality office.

    Essential Functions

    Medical Staff Office: Credentials/MEC/Other:

    1. Obtain Knowledge of the Verge tool to Provide information to Tidelands Health (TH) and outside sources (intangible queries/daily sporadic emails/phone calls)

    2. Assist with Credentials / MEC agendas, minutes

    3. Assist with record keeping of provider annual MSO dues

    4. Assist with Universal background check on new providers

    5. Work with IT staff to create new provider Mnemonics

    6. Create New Provider Memo for distribution to TH SBU leaders/ Department Managers

    7. Update "Bob Report" with new providers~ Send to Decision Support to upload

    8. Assist with Lab coat orders for new and existing providers

    9. Create "Orientation Binder Book" for new providers Wed. orientation

    10. Update Tidelands Health and Tidelands Health ASC rosters for the bridge

    11. Assist with provider credentialing info for the CIC/ PEC/ ASC

    12. Assist with intermittent mandatory provider compliance - HealthStream (annual modules) Employee Health (Covid, Flu shot) Monitoring compliance rate, sending out email reminders

    OPPE/FPPE:

    1. Create Dashboard with metrics to enter Data Abstraction information

    2. Populate Dashboard from various sources:

    3. Analyze dashboard for outliers

    4. Review dashboard annually and revise as needed

    5. Develop new dashboards for new specialties

    6. Dashboard sent to appropriate Chief of Service/SBU/CSC/CMO for sign off

    7. Information/Data collected for appropriate committees' taken for approval to- CIC, MSPIC

    8. Run FPPE Provider reports every 3mth/6mth/9mth for all new providers' in Power BI software-Review and update criteria annually

    May perform other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Experience :

    Minimum of two (2) years' administrative experience in a professional office setting preferably in a healthcare medical staff office.

    Education :

    Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution/program or other equivalent education in business, healthcare or related field preferred.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities :

    • Impeccable integrity and ethics

    • Maintain a high-level of confidentiality

    • Good verbal and writing skills

    • Organized, attention to detail and accuracy

    • Experience with Windows based software

    • Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of management, physicians, licensed independent practitioners, and employees.

    • Medical terminology training preferred

    Other :

    Primarily day shift, with approximately 1-2 times a month evening meetings (prn)

    Physical Requirements : Light Physical Agility Test (PAT) Rating
