Location: Norfolk, VA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay: $17 per hour

Contract: 4-6 months (contract to hire)

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30-5pm

Job Description

• Primarily responsible for answering incoming calls for a busy medical practice

• Schedule appointments, document and deliver messages to the clinical staff

• Assist patients with prescription refill requests and document in EMR system

• Speak to referring providers and provide information regarding patients

• Triage and direct phone calls to appropriate individual or department

• Adhere to HIPAA laws and regulations

Qualifications

• 6+ Months Healthcare Administration Experience

• Exceptional Customer Service
