Mechanical Designer

Title: Mechanical Drafter

Location: Wichita, KS

Description

? Create 3D drawings using Solidworks.

? Experience in a machine shop environment working with machined parts.

? Blueprint reading and interpretation.

? Maintain design equipment and software.

? Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

? Assist the design team in development of custom machines.

? Identify problems and implement solutions for production support.

? Ensure client satisfaction with design of machine and project execution

? Team player providing support to the manufacturing floor and production

? Aptitude to learn and thrive in a fast paced environment

? Performs other related duties as assigned to support the organization.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

? Proficiency with SolidWorks software is a must.

? Experience with Bill of Materials

? ERP system knowledge

? Associate or Bachelor's degree in Drafting/Design or Mechanical Engineering.

? Two plus years related experience.
