Master Mechanic (Class A or B Gasoline/Automotive Mechanic)

Adecco seeks a Master Mechanic for employment with a family-owned company specializing in the production of midsize buses for municipal, senior living, and higher education service sectors.

Shift: Monday through Friday, primarily first shift (6am - 2:30pm)

Master Mechanic (Class A or B Gasoline/Automotive Mechanic) Needed in Bellona, NY

Responsibilities:

• Train and supervise staff during bus assembly to ensure quality and efficiency. (Diesel experience not needed for this position).

• Collaborate with supervisors to develop training plans for the Master Mechanic's department and adjacent areas.

• Conduct inspections to uphold quality standards.

• Troubleshoot issues during production or service.

• Handle PMs and repairs of all types, as well as production and modification of buses and vans on Ford chassis.

Qualifications:

• Minimum three years of senior-level mechanic experience required.

• Possess specialized technical skills, serving as the primary resource for unresolved issues.

• Act as a mentor, supporting team members in skill development and career advancement.

Salary: Ranges between $23 - $30 per hour, paid weekly, depending upon experience. Overtime may be available.
