    KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Software/SaaS Sourcing to join our Strategic Sourcing and Procurement team. This role will support the firm's internal operations and is not a client facing/ consultant position.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide expertise in sourcing software/SaaS products and services, including the development of sourcing strategies specifically for this category which entails analyzing spending data, staying informed about market trends, gathering category-specific information, and taking into account business requirements

    • Conduct in-depth data analysis and create financial models such as ROI, NPV, supplier scorecards, savings tracking, and make vs. buy decision models; utilize these models to execute strategic sourcing projects using established sourcing practices to deliver significant overall value in collaboration with key stakeholders throughout the organization

    • Implement strategies to effectively manage the supply base software/SaaS which includes reviewing suppliers to ensure they meet contracted obligations, service levels, risk requirements, and business expectations; develop and execute negotiation strategies to optimize overall value and mitigate risks

    • Conduct analysis of supplier proposals and facilitate a fact-based supplier selection process; use market data, external expert resources, spend analytics, and cost modeling to drive data-driven decision-making; prepare recommendations for leadership based on these analyses; navigate and maintain a balanced client-vendor relationship while collaborating with legal, compliance, and risk mitigation departments to ensure adherence to respective policies and the achievement of relevant contractual terms

    • Establish influence within the organization, evaluate existing practices, and challenge the status quo when necessary; make sure that compliance with procurement policies and foster strong, trusting relationships with stakeholders and business partners; lead, manage and support cross functional teams throughout the sourcing, negotiations, contracting and vendor management processes

    • Collaborate with suppliers and key stakeholders to effectively manage supplier performance and foster the development of new capabilities; provide feedback to suppliers regarding their performance, encourage continuous improvement and innovation; identify any performance issues and work with internal stakeholders and suppliers to address them efficiently and find a resolution

    Qualifications

    • Minimum five years of recent experience in sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier management, outsourcing, and project management

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is required; Master's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred

    • Experience should show proven track record of success in positions of increasing complexity; combination of management consulting and line role experience preferred

    • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and influencing skills are essential to navigate a complex management and organizational structure with a high level of ambiguity

    • Ability to work effectively with suppliers, project team members, project sponsors, functional leads, and senior management

    • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills are required; able to handle multiple projects, RFXs, and contract negotiations simultaneously; demonstrated skills in analysis, finance, problem-solving, organization, and project management
