    Position Overview:

    As the Manager, Logistics Continuous Improvement, youre a key member of the Global Supply Chain Planning & Execution Team reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Supply Chain Logistics. You will contribute to the success of Ball by enhancing operational efficiency by identifying optimization areas, devising improvement strategies, and implementing solutions to streamline processes, reduce costs, increase throughput, and ensure smooth goods flow across the supply chain.

    Your Key Areas of Responsibilities Include:

    • Analyze current logistics processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.

    • Utilize data analysis techniques to assess performance metrics such as cycle time, inventory turnover, and transportation costs.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including warehouse operations, transportation, and procurement to gather insights and develop improvement initiatives.

    • Design and implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to optimize logistics operations.

    • Develop and maintain performance dashboards and KPIs to monitor progress and track improvements.

    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

    • Provide training and coaching to logistics team members on continuous improvement principles and tools.

    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.

    • Collaborate with IT teams to leverage technology solutions such as automation, data analytics, and optimization software to improve logistics processes.

    Required Experience and Skills:

    • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management or Statistics or broad training and experience in a related field.

    • Minimum of 5 years experience in applying continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen to logistics processes.

    • Minimum of 5 years experience in logistics management, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to understand operational intricacies and identify areas for improvement.

    • Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies to identify inefficiencies and implement process enhancements.

    • Experience analyzing logistics data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to improve operational efficiency.

    • Project Management:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, including planning, execution, and implementation of improvement initiatives within logistics operations; leading improvement projects from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, and monitoring of milestones and outcomes.

    • Communication Skills: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, convey improvement strategies, and facilitate change management within the logistics department.

    • Working Knowledge of:

    • Supply chain concepts, including demand planning, procurement, and supplier management, to ensure alignment with overall logistics strategy.

    • Regulatory requirements and industry standards related to logistics operations, such as transportation regulations, safety guidelines, and customs procedures.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: The preferred location for this role is our Westminster, CO campus; but we will consider a REMOTE candidate, dependent on experience, qualifications and willingness to engage in regular travel to ~~~ ( up to 40% in the first year and then up to 25%)and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations will be required.

    • Hiring Salary Range: $93,100- $142,140USD*. Salary to be determined by the applicants education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

    • *If this role is offered/hired in another country, local market data will be used.

    • This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
