    Job Description

    Manages, plans, coordinates and implements new technology, functions and software for Information Services. Manages and ensures all applications are functioning properly and resolves any malfunctions as necessary. Ensures data integrity and availability in a clear, concise and timely manner; provides data for statistical and research based reporting for Hospital.

    Job Responsibility

    • Provides leadership to IT&S Process Management team members and supervisors by communicating and guiding toward achieving department objectives.

    • Develops, communicates, and builds consensus for goals in alignment with the health system.

    • Plans, manages, coordinates, and implements new technology, functions, and software for Information Services; produces standard and ad hoc reports on departmental performance.

    • Assists the continuous ability to produce and distribute reports using primary and backup the health systems; monitors departmental reporting and distribution performance against industry benchmarks and regulatory requirements.

    • Selects, develops, manages, and evaluates direct reports; oversees the selection, development, management, and evaluation of indirect reports; participates in budget preparation, assists in evaluation capital equipment purchases, and recommends future upgrades, as necessary.

    • Troubleshoots and resolves the health system problems with report production and distribution; ensures data integrity, clarity and timeliness; initiates audits and reviews as necessary.

    • Develops, designs, implements, and evaluates departmental functions involving Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and clinical and business solutions; monitors, evaluates, and resolves issues regarding condition and operation of all equipment used in the flow and distribution of radiology images and results.

    • Collaborates with department staff and other departments to review requirements, recommend solutions, respond to inquiries, provide referenda material and manuals, and recommend appropriate the health system tools.

    • Defines application requirements and translates requirements into the health system proposals and functional specifications; formulates and recommends departmental computer policies and procedures.

    • Conducts all orientation, training and practical support for staff; develops and maintains manuals, guides and other training materials; responsible for documentation of the health systematic events and departmental workflow.

    • Participates in vendor selection and negotiation of the health system contracts; recommends service and support agreements with vendors; monitors vendor compliance against contracts.

    Job Qualification

    • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

    • 6-8 years of relevant experience and 2-5 years of leadership / management experience, required.

    HIGHLY PREFERRED

    • 10+ years of Hospital Revenue Cycle experience

    The salary range for this position is $79,880-$136,340/year
