Title: Maintenance Technician III

Location: Hayward, CA. ONSITE.

Hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (M - F).

Pay: $38/hr. (Negotiable)

Summary

Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to the building,grounds and critical manufacturing support systems. Support the facilities department to perform preventative maintenance activities.

Job description:

• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to the building and grounds as required to ensure compliance with specifications

• Perform electrical (120V, 208V: 3-phase, 480v: 3-phase) and HVAC work (cooling and refrigeration).

• Support to ensure pest control and building security requirements are maintained.

• Support and maintenance of the plant critical systems (HVAC, Compressed Air, Purified Compendial Water Systems, Nitrogen)

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• 3-5 years of mechanical systems repair.

• Physical demands such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.

• Atmospheric conditions, subject to hazards, environmental conditions (inside and outside), and noise.
