  • Our client, a well-known American cosmetics company, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team for 3 rd Shift. Responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in the Production areas.

    Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

    Location: Blaine, MN.

    Pay: $24-$30 per hour

    Shift: Sun-Thurs 11pm-7:30am

    What's the Job?

    • Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance (PM) on plant equipment and machinery.

    • Work directly with employees to develop efficient, effective setups, changeovers and operation of equipment.

    • Assist line personnel in troubleshooting mechanical issues.

    • Maintains, installs, operates, sets up, and tests all types of plant equipment.

    • Utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times and understand the concept and follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.

    What's Needed?

    • Strong English ability - understanding, reading, writing and speaking

    • Experience with automation applications in an industrial manufacturing setting.

    • High School Diploma or its equivalent; and an associate degree in a related maintenance field

    • Ability to stand and walk majority of an 8-hour shift

    • Ability to perform physical movements (push and pull 40-pounds)
