Machine Operator

Manufacturer in Eastern Henrico looking for experienced Machine Operators

Description:

• Basic machine operator position for extrusion machines and converting machines

• Will be responsible for preventative maintenance and quality control

• Will be responsible for filling the extrusion feeder with plastic pellets.

• Responsible as well for working together with the packer (utility person) at the end of their line to keep the line running smoothly.

• Will have to refill their machine with ink, maintaining bag quality and proper ink viscosity etc.

• Will use pallet jack to bring rolls to line and reload machine.

• Training period is 5 weeks.

• Will work with maintenance on major repairs.

Shift:

Rotates from day shift 7am-7pm to night shift 7pm-7am every 5 weeks
